five new headbands i’m loving now

I’ve mentioned that Anthropologie has, in my opinion, the very best selection of headbands when it comes to price point, quality, and cuteness factor! In fact, I just went a little crazy and got a few new headbands in, so I thought I would share them with you today.

Sometime’s I laugh at myself when I think about how, if you asked me, I would say I “tend to go easy on trends.” All it takes is one peek at my headband collection to realize the irony in that statement. Let’s just say that when it comes to this fun hair accessory that’s been taking over for the past year or so, I’m all in!

Last week I shared the nifty Amazon find I use to organize and display my headbands. (Psst.. this clear headband holder is the best!) I loved hearing from y’all that you’re loving this accessory too, and got one question over and over again: “Where do you get your headbands?”

There’s something effortlessly sweet and classic about this simple pink headband. Grosgrain ribbon wrapped, it’s the sweetest spring accessory and can be paired with lots of color or neutral basics for the perfect touch.

I don’t know why, but raffia headbands are so difficult to find! I was excited to come across this knotted version, as it’s a great spring and summer neutral. Keep in mind, the knot does stick up a bit so if you’re not into that look, this may not be for you!

Blues, florals, what’s not to love about this fun yet classic headband? It’s “two-toned,” if you will, with a lighter side and a darker side that meet in the middle. Perfect for all of you blue and white afficianados like me!

Ok, you caught me. I loved the blue and white floral headband so much that I had to order it in the orange and pink version! This gorgeous headband is super saturated and is giving me all of the warm weather vibes already. So in love!

What beats classic blue and white? This headband has my favorite fit of all five featured in this post. Not too pointy, not too puffy, just right. Plus, this fabric comes in a few other lovely and neutral shades and I want them all!

a classic black wrap dress

I’m a regular H&M shopper and was drawn to this simple black wrap dress because of the way it seemed effortlessly elegant… and somehow special.

As much as I love color, sometimes there’s nothing easier, or more classic, than a beautiful black wrap dress. Especially one that is incredibly comfortable and can be dressed up or down for a variety of occasions!

I’m a regular H&M shopper and was drawn to this simple black dress because of the way it seemed effortlessly elegant… and somehow special.

Take the sleeves, for instance. There’s a bit of subtle volume at the shoulders that creates the prettiest effect (not overwhelming in the slightest) and the 3/4 length is lovely on everyone. Not to mention the true wrap waist… my favorite silhouette for an instantly flattering look!

The material is light and gauzy, and incredibly comfortable. Dress it up with heels and a clutch or style it with wedges or sandals and a straw bag for summer! And as far as sizing goes… order your usual. I’m wearing an XS here and it’s a perfect fit!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve been loving following along with different people’s Amazon finds. Let’s just say it’s one “hobby” that my wallet does not appreciate!

Since I myself have been enjoying them so much, I thought it would be fun to start a new series here on Lonestar Southern… appropriately named “My Amazon Finds.”

From time to time, I’ll be sharing a quick post on individual Amazon finds I’m particularly loving. While I love larger-scale Amazon roundups, I think it will be fun to get a bit more in-depth with individual spots!

Today, I wanted to start with a little organizational accessory that every headband-loving girl should have… these clear headband holders!

It’s no secret I love a fun headband from time to time, but I found myself struggling with a way to organize them. Enter these $14.99 headband holders! Not only do they display your headbands in a lovely way, but they’re also great spacesavers. The inside is hollow so you can store brushes, makeup brushes, or any other number of items inside as well!

Now, I also think this horizontal holder is cute as well, but it’s about ten dollars more expensive and takes up more space.

If you’re on the market for cute headbands, my favorite destination is Anthropologie! They always have a huge selection at a reasonable price point. I just ordered this one and this one.

I am a big fan of this organizational find, and hope they help store and enjoy your headbands as well!
